Pronghorn, bison, moose, elk, and bear can be sighted from many vantage points in Grand Teton. Unfortunately, moose and bear kept eluding us... however, the pronghorn and and bison were ubiquitous and easily photographed from US Highway 89 which parallels the Snake River. Several side roads in the vicinity of the Morman Row historic area also provided several productive wildlife viewing vantage points: notably Gros Ventre Road and Antelope Flats Road. One late afternoon, just north of Jackson Lake, a Coyote was spotted hunting in a grassy field.
